Biography
Since commencing her acting career in 2003, Nicole's credits vary from a hard hitting tour of the play 'Legal Weapon' (Ape Theatre Company), a European stage tour of four different productions with English Theatre Company to Film and Voice Over work in association with the urban gangster movie the Baseline (due to be launched this year) and the BAFTA nominated film, Control.
Director, Paul Fred Kelly made the following comments about working with Nicole, 'I had the pleasure of employing Nicole Gaskell in June 2008 in a new stage play. She was a delight to work with, hardworking, conscientious and has a natural talent with which she took in her stride a complex and challenging lead role. In her portrayal of cancer sufferer, Susan ('Now Breathe Out', 24:7 Theatre Festival), Nicole received a special mention in a review by Altrincham and Sale Messenger; 'The most affecting character is a female cancer sufferer (Nicole Gaskell) who is dying', 'and actually reminds you of a living ghost as she shuffles past you.' Reviewer Rick Bowen went on to describe Gaskell's performance as 'excellent'.
