ABOUT ME
Nicole Gaskell
After graduating from the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, I instinctively wanted to keep exploring the craft on a deeper level, and so I began looking for other styles of acting that could help me become more truthful in my performance.
It was in London where I met Mark Wakeling and Tom Radcliffe (a direct student of the late Sanford Meisner) that the power of the craft really started to transform me. Under Tom's tutelage I began to explore acting in a much deeper and meaningful way. I was hooked!
After completing my training with Tom Radcliffe and other tutors at the Actors Temple Studio in London, I was then fortunate enough to work with master instructor Martin Barter from the Sanford Meisner Institute in New York.
After graduating in 2008, I took my new skills into the acting world, all the while continuing my training. In 2014 I returned to the Actors Temple - this time as a tutor.
Over the following decade I have honed my craft and developed an accessible teaching style that remains true to the principles of Sanford Meisner, whilst offering each student the opportunity to develop their own individuality as an actor.
